My first payment for my car was due out of my bank on the 8th of May. When it didnt go out I left it off for another month, but it still hasn't been collected. Anyone ever experience this?
 
No experience of this - but contact the car finance company asap to let them know as they may have made an error re. your bank a/c no. or something & you don't want to have to make 3 payments in July!
 
I'd contact them if i were you, since you are now 2 payments behind they can come and take the car off you.

Have you not recieved any letters phone calls from them about this?

It may seem great that they haven't collected the money and it could be an over sight on their part, but one things for sure they will notice eventually.
 
I havent recieved a thing from them.
I now have two payments sitting in my account waiting to be collected.
I was hoping they forgot about me..... lol as if!
Maybe i should contact them so, dont want to risk losing my car!!!

This did happen to me once but it wasn't for car finance. The account numbers had been mixed up and the first payment didn't go. Even though on the form it had my correct account details and it wasn't my fault my , it was whoever processed the DD form, i still had to pay a missed payment fee. Wasn't happy at all about it, but i was told it was my responsibility to make sure the DD had been set up correctly. Not sure how i was meant to do this as this was before on-line banking.

Anyway to stop the payment increasing i just paid it. I do now make sure that any DD or standing order is active on my account before the 1st payment is due out.
