Perhaps i am old fashioned but the wording on top of this leaflet left me puzzled for a few seconds. It said " IF THE WHO CHANGES THE PHASE OF INFLUENZA ETC. It would have been more meaningful if World health organisation was used instead of WHO.

I agree. It drives me mad when people use acronyms on the assumption that everyone will understand them.

Always a top idea during a time like this ,to print a leaflet in thousands, pass it from one group of people to another like some giant pass the germs game, and deliver it to me.I feel reassured  And why they are not using the World health organisation instead of a rock band puzzles me as well.

You make your house germ free, then what happens? They come in through the Letter Box :(

Agreed sure what would Pete Townshend know anyway!

I've been to the library and borrowed Who's Who to see who the WHO are!:D

Then put in the bin it would be a flyer on flu ,with Who,a bad clue ,that Dew blew, and threw:D

Has everyone received the leaflet? We're still waiting; perhaps it won't travel south :)

Another thing about the leaflet it makes no reference to the Swine flu whereas a leaflet in Chemist shops which i think are also issued by HSE is headed Swine Flu. the leaflet has reached Cork

I haven't seen the leaflet yet. Is every house meant to get one? Not that I want one, just curious.

Got mine yesterday (in the NE). It's pretty standard. No real news and just the usual HSE mixture of 'be careful' and 'there is is nothing to worry about.'

:)
