Financial Regulator springs to mind! It was announced last night that there were 4 suspected cases of Swine Flu in Ireland. By 3 o'clock today we still don't know if it is swine flu or not!

Keep taking the Iodine tablets.

What do you expect from our health service? I'm sure in Cuba they would have the result now and even in Congo, but this is Ireland after all, we possible needed to send the test over to the United Kingdom for testing because our only testing machine is currently broken or worse not certified by the EU.

Or in long term storage in a privately-owned cattle shed in Monaghan because nobody knows how it works.

actually the websites are very much up to date compared to other countries

i thought it wasn't too bad of a response from our beaten down civil servants all the same

To be perfectly honest, the mania over this flu is just media sensationalisation. There is no need for the Government to do anything else - if they do it will be a waste of money we cant afford to spend.

I’m due to fly to Florida in 5 weeks for our first decent family holiday in 10 years (so ever, as a family) and unless they are sweeping the bodies up off the streets and it turns out that this is a Stephen King style pandemic we will be going.

I believe there was a guy on Morning Ireland from the HSE (?) who was saying that the results were in but they were waiting to inform the patients/families before they went public with the result.
