Reasons to be cheerful

With all that's gone on this week and the bad news flying in from all angles, its hard to be positive and have a bright outlook. I started my own little construction business a year ago and its looking pretty grim now, as evidenced by the fact that I am posting on AAM at the minute!

However, even in the short term there are things that I am looking forward to that are cheering me up no end.

My wonderful sister is visiting for the weekend.

All my friends are around this weekend also, the best friends a man could hope for.

I have a ticket for the Munster game on Sunday.

I don't have a mortgage.

Putting things in perspective is great, we should all do a lot more of it. We are all wealthy in so many other ways than just money. Sunny side out people.
 
I have four days coming up that will consist mainly of:

Making love to my wife

Playing my guitar and/or writing music

Eating a lot

Drinking a lot

Seeing good friends

...that's enough to make me very happy.

Cav, all that has the makings of a serious weekend! I'd love to get the time breakdown on how long you'll spend on each! I'd recommend a decreasing order as you move down the list. ;)

Does that mean you won't be appearing on AAM over the weekend and that we'll just be stuck with S.L.F., Smashbox, Purple, BaldyMan, SandraT, Ron and Co?

Won't be quite the same...... :(
 
Nope, I'll be in Thomond on Sunday and boozing heavily in Cork Sunday night so you'll have to do without me that day. I will be prowling the rest of the time though. How sad my life has become...
