Copy Wedding DVD

Quick question...I did a search but to no avail. I went to copy the DVD...the problem is that it is 7.4gb and a blank DVD is only 4.7gb. I was using Roxio...it burned on to the pc but when i put in a blank DVD RW the drive kept opening telling me to insert a compatible DVD...(it listed a few and DVD RW was one of them). Any help appreciated....maybe I need to use a different programme??

No, you just need a dual-layer DVD-R.

Handbrake - re-encode your dvd to a high quality (might take a long time depending on your computer) and then create a dvd with the resulting file using Roxio.

There will be some loss of quality, but it shouldn't be significant.

I have used DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink in the past, but from that link to DVD Shrink I can't see getting it for free? It appears to cost money?
