I need a Blackberry for work but we have maxed out the number of licences, so I need to look at another option. Nokia N95/N96 was suggested as an alternative. Need to read & sync email on-the-move, WiFi and GPS. Anyone tried the Nokia offering ? Other suggestions ?

Have a Nokia E71 which ticks all your boxes (also great battery life) and love it. But am using gmail so not sure how well it integrates with Exchange compared to a Blackberry. Only negative I've found is very disappointing camera.

battery life on the n95/96 is not the best. grand phone but the battery lets it down big time.

Do you need a Blackberry or email access on the go as you haver said. My E 51 does all that you have said above and i'm happy with it.

I have an N95 and love it, ticks all the boxes. Am happy enough with the battery on it, I had a Samsung before this that was awful, so I guess in comparison its good.

Thanks for all the feedback. Another requirement that I forgot to mention was the need for a QWERTY keyboard which eliminates some of the ones listed above. I eventually ordered a Nokia E71, as it's on the "approved list" at work and our IT group will set it up by to sync with my work email. Fingers crossed, I will have good luck with it.
