Firefox - logs me out of everything with every reboot

Firefox V3.0.5 seems to log me out of everything (AAM, boards.ie, Facebook) every time I reboot. It used not do this, but I can't quite remember when it started. I vaguely recall upgrading to V3x of Firefox recently, so it might be something to do with that. My cookie settings are set to accept 3rd party cookies and keep until they expire.

Any suggestions about how to stop this happening would be most welcome.
 
Have you checked that the cookies are actually present? Sounds like a problem with persistent cookies. Are you running any security product (cleaner, antivirus, antispyware etc) that cleans down temp files on shutdown/restart?
 
Under
tools->Options->Privacy Tab
There is a check box with the label - 'Always clear my private data when I close firefox'
Make sure this is unchecked

Yep, checked that one and it is definitely unchecked.

The problem is still happening - all advice welcome.
 
Have a look at this thread particularly this post on the thread ...
< snip> I shut down my browser and deleted both my cookies.txt and cookies.sqllite files, then restarted the browser. Worked like a charm. Apparently the files had gotten corrupted somehow, and session information was not being saved correctly. It took a complete purge to start again from scratch. (Note that cookies.txt is not used in FF3, but if you have one leftover from the upgrade, delete it too.)
