Help. Cannot print from Office Word or Works Word

Please help. My daughter has done up a project on my computer and it is time to put it together and it won't print. It is done on Microsoft Office Word 2007, but the printer won't print it. We keep getting an error report for paper allignment.
We can print off anything else, e-mails, pages from various sites etc, but not from Office Word, or even Works Word, which we were always able to do.
Is this something big, or just 'press a few keys and we're off'!!!!!!
Don't know much about computers.....
We never had a problem with Office Word before.... just used for letters etc and always printed.
Anyone any ideas, please.
 
Have a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826845. Another thought is to see if you can download an updated driver from the Printer manufacturer or Microsoft. My guess is there may be graphics or tables in your daughters doc that the printer doesn't like.

I love the way Microsoft gets worse with every "upgrade". I use Office 2000 and never had any such problem!
 
Also refer to your printers manual to carry out an alignment, especially if you have recently changed your ink cartridges, if you are still having problems after doing the above and MCT1's suggestion then you might post the printer model and the exact error message you are receiving
 
Also what might be worth a try is to see what size page you a printing under Properties. I find that my printer in work does not like printing anything that is "letter" and I often manually adjust it to A4 and it prints

Tried the above, the bits I could understand I did, but no luck with printing. Tried to print test page and no good, what I get is
ERROR 1106 Wrong paper format. Insert correct paper and press /(correct sign)
I have a Dell all in one 928.
Windows XP.
The paper just runs through the printer and the error message comes up.
 
try this.save the project,upload it in and email and send it to yourself and print or copy and paste into email and send it to yourself and print.i had simular problem with word.
 
I tried that, but no good. I can print regular e-mails though. When I go to print and go through the motions.... it shows that printing is taking place but then error shows and paper just keeps flying through printer with nothing printed.
