11890 free calls ?

I've just noticed I've been charged 59c by BT for every 11890 call I made towards the end of 2008 thinking it was free.

Has this happened to anyone else ? I assume because I didn't ring BT to check if it was free (just going by the ad) I'm liable - feeling fairly stung for this...

Far as I know its only free to call if your with Eircom.
 
It states eircom phones only

'The company is allowing customers to call 11890 free from Eircom landlines'
