I am visiting New York shortly and wonder what sort of money would I have to spend to buy a small present for my grown up daughter. My budget is low.

Hi Boxette

When you say that you're budget is low, how low, I was over there last november, and headed to the third floor in Tiffanys, myself and my friends called it the irish floor, all we could here were irish accents, its where they sell silver, I picked up a lovely necklace for my sister's 21st for 250 dollars.

You can get e.g. a silver bookmark for about $50 I think - check the website as advised as they have all the products and prices there.

Hizzy -thanks for that. Yes I would be thinking of silver and 250 dollars would be my top budget. Did it come in the little blue box. Was there much of a selection around that price

Hi Boxette,

250 dollars was a lot for me, you can get lots of lovely things much cheaper, and yep, you get the pouch and the box, and the white ribbon.

Hope this is of some help

Hizzy

*Everything* comes in the little blue box:) There's loads of silver around that price.

I really like this. It's $175, for example.

You can search the website by price, material and type of jewellry.

thanks everyone for all that info. Definately will pay a visit now - seems like I will have a choice and may not have to spend as much as I originally thought.
