Bank of Ireland Current Account Credit Interest

I'm sure I received credit interest on my current a/c at some stage in the past 12 months. However, it would appear fromm my current a/c statement that I will not be getting any interest now.

I have a standard a/c with free banking. I applied for the credit interest when it first was introduced and I have made at least three transactions per quarter.

Does anyone know if the criteria/conditions have changed. The current criteria are:

"If you are a personal current account customer on our "Pay as you Go" or "Flat Fee" fee options or an Accountholder with our Golden Years Current Account you can, in any interest quarter, earn interest7 on cleared credit balances8 of up to €1,500, provided you:
  • Apply by completing and returning the Credit Interest Registration Form9 (PDF, 105KB)
  • Make at least three debit transactions4 from your personal current account using Bank of Ireland 365 phone or online in the relevant fee quarter"
Is there anything new in the above criteria?

They are the only criteria according to the Financial Regulator. It is probably best if you give them a call.

Their rate has dropped to a low 2.25% recently.

I'm sorry. My mistake. I should have checked earlier statements. The interest was in fact added on 24th November.

I had planned to give them a call tomorrow but in any event the interest amounted to only €11.

Well, Met.
Really you must first of all call them, discuss with them. Iam sure your problem will solve out.
