Can anyone recommend a nice location for lunch in London on Tuesday. Going with my daughter and son (25 & 16). We won't be dressed to the nines as we are only over for the day, and will have our walking shoes on etc....
Thanking you,

Dover Street Restaurant off Piccadilly (opposite the Ritz Hotel). You may have to book a table. Check their Webpages.

How about a water front pub in Richmond? It would be nice getting out of the city and head down to the Thames for a nice lunch. There are at least 5 decent pubs that sell food with a great view.

If you're short on time, don't go to Richmond, it's too far out of the city centre.

my sister had a great meal in gordon ramsay's boxwood cafe a couple of weeks ago

it's in knightsbridge and the set lunch is decent value.

Good point

Covent Garden would be my next choice, loads of restaurants and bars there so just go with the flow until you see something you fancy.

We went here when in London earlier this year - Strada - there are a chain, so if you check out the map you might find one near where you are planning to be, we went to the one on New Burlington Street. Food was very nice, and reasonable too.
