Even though I'm no huge fan of his, Gerry Ryan seemed to be 20x's better. Normally with Kenny the remote has to be hit after cringeworthy questions but tonight the channel wasn't flicked.
Bravo for pulling it off Mr Ryan - an alternative in waiting?? Thank God.
Must say I was pleasently surprised also, he didn't seem to take it too seriously and just went with the flow. He was probably lucky that his guests were from entertainment backrounds which would be his forte, and definatly not Pat Kennys.
Given the amount other offerings presented through 'reality TV' plus gibberishy interviews with total cokeheads, there's still a lot of support for Pat K and the people who live and pay their taxes in the real world.
I wouldn't swop ya for the whole lot of 'em, Pat....keep it going.

Actually despite the fact that I think he is brutal, I think he handled that situation OK.... maybe he should have just hung up on her after she said she was not interested.
On the rest of the show, yer man PJ Gallagher (Jake Stevens) was brilliant - but only because he would not let the plank interrupt him.
He made a balls of the Charlie Bird interview (true to form)..... Charlie had alot to say but as usual he kept interrupting him when he was making a point.
Tommy Hilfiger was interesting & yet again the plank on a few occasions tried to focus on the negative stuff.
