Hi all,

Sick of the doom and gloom, on radio and news....i know not to ignore it, but want a break away, just a weekend with a good buddy, up for a laugh, a good nite out!!

Somewhere cheap too!! :)

have done liverpool, London, Paris too expensive, Amsterdam not our scene!? Brastilavia/ parague thinking too many hens/ stags?

was thinking Glasgow, as were from Cork, and ryanair cheap flights but have heard bad stories...rough...no offence just what i have heard?

I would love to go out in Belfast? is it safe, is it expensive?

Any suggestions/ reccommendations greatly appreciated?

Dublin? We always welcome girls who visit and are up for a laugh and a good night out!

Both Belfast and Glasgow are good cities. Glasgow looks rough in parts but is perfectly safe and the people are sound if a little hard to understand. I have been told it is good for shopping as well if thats any good to you!

I love Belfast. It has really come on in recent years. There are now some great pubs and restaurants in the city and there is a really good buzz around the place.

The missus went on a hen to Brighton and loved it. Not a pink cowboy hat tacky hen (not that there's anything wrong with that..), it was actually a classy afffair (according to her). Loads of gay bars so they weren't hit on as much as usual.
Belfast is safe but the bars close early.
Edinburgh always a good laugh, can be as cheesy or as refined as you like.

Ya its looking like edinburgh is winning!!! hmmm, have to fly from dublin, hey sunny u up for a few hotties from cork staying up with ye hahah!!

So edinburgh or Belfast??

you the public can decide........ :D

ps shopping not a major issue, more of an added extra bonus!

I could probably handle two but a few hotties I am not so sure!!

If you haven't been to Edinburgh, I would choose there aswell. Has a bit of everything.
 
Malev fly direct to budapest from Cork.
Enjoy shopping in westend, as well as an afternoon in the baths. Something different, beautiful city with lots to do.

Hi Blossy,Know exactly how you feel,all this doom not healthy,so myself and my sis heading to glasgow for a couple of days at end of the month.Got ryanair flights from Cork for 40 euros each,and a good deal in Marks hotel,trip advisors no 1 for singles.If weather is good,we will take train to Edinborough for 1 day, Looking forward to it,Enjoy,,,,whatever you decide..
