Does anyone know what needs to be done to be able to sell on wine/beer made at home? Also, are there other issues dependant on it e.g product liability insurance etc.

Perhaps a call to your local Garda station would clarify both queries given that the local Guards deal with licensing applications etc. - they'd probably be well placed to answer both questions.
