Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me.

I have a good idea for a new business, and its one that has not been tried in Ireland yet (as far as i can tell from research).

I dont have much (or any really) capitol to get this business up and running. So i was wondering if anyone know of any investment companies or people that I can contact, and with hope make my idea a reality.

In the UK it is big business but strangly in Ireland its virtually unheard of as far as i know. I have done alot of research into this, over 6 months worth and would really kile to give it a go. So if anyone here know of anyone that can help me it would make me very happy and maybe all my research will not be gone to waiste.

Thanks

DB

There is limited VC money in Ireland.
Your county enterprise board should be able to help.
You can talk to them about business angels.

Thanks guys, am looking into the business angels now. They seem to have a good list of private investors. I am aiming for only €10k - €15k so I think business angels should be able to help me.

Thanks again

Unless you this that the experience and/or advice on offer from a business angle will be of substantial use then get a bank loan. Don’t give away part of your business to someone who may be a burden/problem in the future for a small sum of money now.
