Family member wants to upgrade from Old Cabra Road area to Cremore Estate
in Glasnevin and she's been told she'd be daft because Glasnevin is way more expensive now plus there's a lot of rough elements pass thro enroute to other areas. Also she'd have real probs getting to work on the Merrion Road from there ? Anybody care to express a view on tranquility around that area of Glasnevin ?

After living in Glasnevin for over two years a couple of years ago, I can only say that it was a great place to live, there where some rough elements but mainly on buses, but thats not local to just Glasnevin.

I live further down near Hart's Corner. Been living there for 10 years - husband (formerly a committed southsider) wouldn't move for love nor money. Good schools, parks and very handy for town. There's a No 4 bus which goes to Blackrock via the Merrion Rd. I pick it up at Hart's corner - not sure where it starts from.
