possibly the reason they are being banned, they want to be different but end up conforming to a stereotypical image, side parted fringe, skinny jeans, woe is me attitude, black clothes, the self harming part is worrying.
However with Goths its just black, baggy jeans, chains, heavy metal.
Both very image conscious, When I was a teenager there were punks and bovver boys, I remember this gang of youths with the three quarter length jeans,and doc martins, playing football in front of our house, when their ball came to our garden my Dad used to confiscate it, v. embarrasing; one of the lads, I remember his name...Dicky Elliot had one eye, the other poked out with an umbrella in a row....Me, I was into Bay City Rollers, tartan scarf etc. I wish Goths had been invented then, I would've made a great Goth...
