I'm loathe to share this but Beckett's in leixlip do a fabulous sunday fixed price menu. Shorter than their normal menu but great value and definitely not a carvery.

The Hanged Mans in Milltown, out near the Curragh. I think they do a 2 sitting lunch now, (have not been there since this was introduced) so it would be best to book.
