I'm looking to send a gift hamper for mum and baby for a friend who is due her baby shortly. I won't be able to visit her so i wanted to send a hamper to the hospital. Can anyone recommend a good company that does this kind of thing?

a friend received a hamper from these people recently [broken link removed]

any good? I don't have any association with the company but my friend loved the gift (wish I had thought of it!)

Would it not be better to have the hamper sent to her house? One less thing for her to have to transport home?

I would have it sent to the house. You have enough to cart in and out of the hospital and with MRSA you want to keep as little in there as possible.

because she is between addresses at the moment so its hard to know when someone will be in either house to receive delivery.

I have a 6 week old and it gave my husband something to do bringing the presents home in the evening time when he was leaving. Plus he had them put away when I got home so one less thing for me to do.

nappy cake sounds good and delivery is free to the hospital she'll be in!

I think they sound great!! It's a pity I don't have any friends who are pregnant at the moment!

That's great that the delivery is free to the hospital she is in.

How about a baby bouquet? They are socks and baby grows rolled up in the shape of flowers surrounded by traditional flower bouquet paper. My sister gave one to my brother and everyone raved about it ! A number of sites do them and they are around 30 euro w/o postage

For anyone looking at this from search I used this website after and they delivered a beautiful nappy cake to the hospital. I ordered it late on Thursday night and was delivered on Saturday morning. Very impressive and would definately recommend them. I have no affiliation.

Hi Ting
Do you have a website in Ireland that does these - I have done a search and seen some in the UK but not here. The ones I have seen look very good. Thanks!

Hi no worries here are two irish sites that do them sometimes it may even work out cheaper with sterling incl postage so do check it out as well

Brought from Babygifts4u and was delighted with the gift. They deliver to hospitals also.
