i just got my halifax cc bill today and noticed that their apr rate is now 10.9%. it was 9.5%. it came into effect on 01/06/08 and that was a week and a half ago. i think i should have been notified sooner.
People really should use credit cards so that the interest rate charged is academic/irrelevant - i.e. use them as a cashflow tool rather than a source of longer term credit and clear their balances before interest charges kick in.
