Remarrying after divorce - timescale?

Hi

I'm processing a divorce at the moment and the pressure is on cos my ex wants to remarry later in the year. Does anyone know if there is a minimum time which must have elapsed after the decree of divorce before one can remarry and if so how does this work?

Also is the decree of divorce dated from the court date or some later date?

Thanks

Clubman, that is a useful link - thanks. Can anyone define 'living apart'. Does it have to be at separate addresses i.e. does anyone know if 'living apart'/sleeping in separate bedrooms counts towards 4 years needed for divorce? I would be grateful if anyone knew the answer!

No. It can be at the same address.

Yes - it can.

[broken link removed] that I found using Google which may be of interest. I'm sure that there are others.
