Ottoman storage beds

Hi,

Anyone have any recommendations about these? I see that they seem to be available in both side opening and end opening. I think I'd prefer an end opening but if anyone has thoughts about this, do let me know.

Also, any recommendations about where to buy?
 
I don't have one but I'd probably go for the end opening as the side appears to have more limited access. This is just an opinion though as I have never had an ottoman storage bed.

edit: its impossibly hard to find a less indecent description :eek:
 
Sorry, didn't realise bumping the thread was frowned upon. :) I only posted it and within a day it had disappeared down the end becasuse the board is so busy and I really was intereseted to hear what people thought of them, I wasn't intending on doing it more than the one time.

Looks like they aren't popular yet. They look like divan beds but instead of drawers, the whole mattress base lifts up and you have the whole base of the bed below the mattress for storage. They say that this gives you 4 times as much space as a traditional divan bed with drawers.

PM1234 : my thoughts exactly. As well as that, with the side opening ones aren't the pillows going to fall off every time you lift it up?!

Ah now - fixing a few pillows wouldn't be too much to ask :)

TBH I'd have thought the storage would probably be used more for items you don't need to access everyday.
