Eh? Why do you want to increase the noise level in an already noisy house? Why?! And I don't think that you can get white noise emitting fans.I was gonna get one of them little desk fans to create some 'white noise' (noisy semi-detached).
If they are rated 2kW and are running full pelt at that level then they will use 2 units of electricity per hour. Are you sure that this is not a fan heater? 2kW for just a cooling fan seems excessive.Looked at one that is 2kw. Does that mean it uses 2kw of electricity per hour?
Your neighbours must be really bad for you to prefer listening to white noise!? Or else you don't really understand what white noise actually is. For example one application of white noise is to disorientate prisoners undergoing torture and interrogation!white noise as in noise that can take my mind of next doors'.
2kW certainly sounds more like a heating/air conditioning unit than a regular desk fan.Yeah I think it read 2kw under the heating fan.
Very little I would imagine. They don't generate much noise either in my experience. What about those cooling desk top fans. How much kw do they use.
Are you kept awake at night by noisy neighbours? A white noise machine can help by blocking out their noise. Instead of shouting or music, you just hear a gentle sound similar to that made by a fan. A Marpac white noise machine is a must for apartment living. http://www.whitenoisemachine.co.uk/
It's this type of thing.
