Hi,
I am just wondering does anyone have any knowledge of learnaboutshares.com or if there are people who are out there that are using this tool at the moment.
Basically they put themselves forward as an educational company on how to trade successfully on the stock market, they will provide you with there software which is linked to some UK stock brokerage.
From talking to one of their sales advisors it just all seems too easy and the initial outlay of ~2000 euro seems a little expensive.
Any feedback welcome.

DoubleD - my own personal opinion is that there is ample material available on the internet and in books to self-teach this subject. Decide on what approach you are comfortable with i.e. daytrading, value investing etc....and then focus on that. Pick some stocks and add them to a portfolio in any of the stock/financial websites (e.g. yahoo) and then trade a virtual portfolio while you are learning. When you are comfortable with your level of knowledge then open an online trading account and do it for real. It's a lot of learning IMO but very rewarding if you have an interest.

Good Luck.

Exactly. Read up on the wealth of free information available online and elsewhere (e.g. libraries etc.) and save your €2K to invest. Nobody has a system for picking winning stocks all of the time. Paying €2K in the hope of some sort of competitive advantage versus other investors is a mug's game.
