Hi,
was wondering if anyone knows how much a power of attorney document costs?

not the enduring power of attorney but the General Power of Attorney?

and is it possible for an overseas individual to grant power of attorney to someone in Ireland? (i.e. without coming to Ireland to sign).

I got one through a notary for €100 but I understand you can get it done for less. This was a power of attorney in relation to the purchase of a property overseas.

I did it the other way around for a foreign property purchase. Went to the embassy of the country of purchase. I presume the irish embassy in the country relevant to you can do similar in reverse.
 
It depends on what the power is to be used for. For example I would send these to clients abroad in relation to a probate or conveyancing I am doing for them at no extra charge. However if it is, for example, something to do with having power over an elderly persons accounts or something similar then more complicated. They can be executed abroad and then sent back here.
