Hi, I have looked everywhere! All I want is the unit that fits on top of a toilet that you press to flush the toilet. It's a dual one i.e. light flush and full flush. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Do you just want a replacement button for your particular flush unit (whatever you call that thing!). Why not ask the shop from which it was purchased - or note the make and model and call the manufacturer or distributor.

I actually tracked down the plumbers who did our apartment in the first place, got the name of the supplies off them and checked but they only do trade and also don't sell the buttons seperatley. Yeah it's just the button and little screw in thing I need. I've seen handles but not buttons!

Yup, B & Q, Homebase, Woodies and every DIY store I pass!

Does the distributor have a showroom? :)

Alternatively, try asking the plumber if he has any spares. Or buy a new flush kit from the "trade only" distributor (nothing to stop you buying this yourself, just say you're in the trade if they ask. These places generally don't ask too many questions, won't even ask you which particular "trade" you're in!)

I had the same problem before. Try Heatmerchants. Most people will tell you that you need a whole new flushing assembly, but Heatmerchants kindly gave me just the button.

Brilliant, will try heatmerchants. Have already tried everything else! Thanks

For things like this, you are often better go to the specialist suppliers such as Heatmerchants, Chadwicks, etc. The DIY chains don't tend to carry these items.
