I am looking for a futon chairl. Been trying Ikea Belfast for the last three weeks and always out of stock. Does anyone know if they can be bought in Dublin? Or have instructions to buile the frame.
Thanks.

They are on sale in Argos (home delivery only) - a link to one of their samples

Thanks a million for that. I had tried looking at argos a few months ago and did not see any. They are a bit more expensive but with travel and exchange rates should not be too bad.

This site has a number of free woodworking plans for beds of various kinds, as well as other useful stuff, but I can't remember seeing futons.

Construction is very simple, or so I've been told by the woodworking cognoscenti. If you can get a look at one and take a few measurements, Bob's your Uncle.

I would certainly not suggest ordering one, measuring it and then sending it back as unsuitable or unwanted. ;)

Thanks. Looks simple enough but its working out how it can fold into a chair that I would worry about.

I thought that discussion of individual chair prices was disallowed by the posting guidelines?
