We have an open fire and burn coal, logs, paper briquttes.
Obviously a lot of ash is left over.

What do people do with it?

Is it maybe a good fertilizer or something?

There must be some good uses for it?

Any ideas?

Generally, that's exactly what it is. ;)

Certain plants/shrubs etc may be sensitive to it's chemical make up though so worth checking this e.g. it will probably increase the acidity of your soil - fine if that's what you need, but you may not.
