Trolls - what exactly does this mean on AAM

slightly off the topic having retired after 45 years in a reasonably demanding job and now have become somewhat addicted to AAM i recently was informed that i had incurred an infraction. i fled to the dictionery and learned i had commited a minor offence. i was told my comments were gibberish and again i had to seek precise meaning. since then i have been a good boy if not a little nervous in what i post !
 
Bronte, I suppose if you consider that a 'troll' in folklore, lurked, with bad intentions and with victims unaware until it was too late, then the modern day application of the term, on sites such as this, is apt enough.
 
I think trolls are wonderful and we should encourage more of them. Maybe we should have a captive breeding programme set up?
 
I got the wagon wheels over the weekend and had one yesterday.
