Hi,
One of the tap heads on my bath cracked last weekend, or to be more specific the plastic insert in the head that grips the valve cracked last weekend.
Ive tried woodies, local plumbing shops etc and they only seem to carry taps that come complete with the valve attached (as all new taps do now days Im told) - where as my valve is attached to the main fixture... (installed 1980's)

Does anybody know where I would be able to pick up one of these tap heads ? as I dont want to shell out for an entire bath tap fixture unneccessarily.

Sorry if the above is not clear as I found it hard to describe exactly what is cracked.

thanks

brian

B& Q here in England sell the heads seperately, or certainly used to, so I would check them out over there

Pop off the blue or red insert, open the screw and take the tap-head into Woodies, B&Q, Homebase, where-ever. Check some of the on-line catalogues. They are sold separately in lots of outlets.

you'll find it very hard to find a match, an option is "adapt a tap" these are tap heads and spindles that fit into your old tap bodies. they come in different styles!

I bought a set to fit in old taps for a person with arthiritis. Got them in Woodies (Deans Grange, by Chadwicks) about a month ago. E16 as far as I remember. They look great.
