Hi, I lost my passport between Belfast and Donegal and was wandering if there was a designated place were lost passports were sent to. Have tried all the obvious places like the airport etc Thanks
 
Passports get lost on a fairly regular basis. You can apply for a new one and just complete the relevant section of application form.

if they are found a lot are sent directly in to the PPO ( persons and Garda ). From there the staff try to contact the owners.

Get a form signed by the Garda to say its lost. Get your photos signed along with the form and you'll get sorted from there.

If you are traveling within 10 days you'll in proof of travel, if you are traveling in less than 48 hrs it will cost you 50 extra.
