Just passed my 50 posts, so time to pay tribute to tv gold. Just about think they got the winner right too....
 
It's not mandatory to post in The Depths when you reach that milestone you know.

Welcome to the bowels of the earth. I see you're a bit of an all-rounder. PVC windows, corsa dashboards, pregnant wife and rear endings.
I think they got the winner right. The youngone was very talented but needs to learn how to cope with the pressure.
I thought she had it in the bag when John got all blubbery.
 
John deffo had a big smeg hard on for the Emily lass. she would do will working under Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck.
 
All those other posts were just an excuse to get in here... I wish. Posting "doesn't get much tougher than this!!!"... (to quote our friends John and Greg)
 
thought it was a very good show with each of the chefs with a very different style. Still thought they picked the right winner. Think all 3 of them would have a good career in cooking should they choose it. One thing we noticed while watching the program that for a 3 michelein star 3 course meal you could expect to pay 500 stg according to masterchef last night.
 
Yes, we noticed that price as well - eek. Definitely thought the right person won, emily nearly made John cry (bless) but she's young enough to have an amazing career doing pretty much whatever (she seemed to be one of those people who can do everything well) and Johnny, well, Johnny just wasn't up to James' standards IOHO.... the best person won :)
