Car Valet in Cork

Hi Guys,

I want to get a Valet done on a new car - outside only.
Anyone know who's best in Cork?
I've used the crowd in Mahon Point and they are grand, jsut wondering if there are other ones around??...
 
There's one on the ground floor of the multi storey car park opposite the opera house. I valet my car myself, but a friend of mine uses it regularly, and hasn't had a complaint.
 
Oh Right - prob the same crowd that do Mahon Point. Just did some googling and it's Crystal Clean - they seem to do all the carparks...

I could do it myself I suppose cause I got some Car care stuff for crimbo.... Just being Lazy :p
 
I know what you mean, but I've yet to find a valet service that does the job as good as I do ;-)
 
Hey, Just wondering what products you use to Valet your car?
I got Some Turtle Wax Platinum and Some Auto Glym Gift Sets for christmas and not sure which is better ....

Always found the turtle products best, either polish or wax. Have tried others but in my experience they are more difficult to apply and don't give as good a shine. It really is worth the extra bit of money. Most important thing though is the way you apply it.
Other than that, don't be talked into buying a special cloth, all you need is two large pieces of cotton cloth. Apply the wax/polish with one, by rubbing it in in a small circular movement to a 3 inch by 3 inch patch. This takes time and energy, but gives you best results. Once you have finished one body panel, use the second cloth to rub it off.
Also best to avoid applying in direct sunlight, if not possible, then avoid mid day sun.
 
i get car washed in either shell near centre park road or maxol in carrigaline and then do the waxing part myself.

There is another in the QPark Grand Parade Multi-storey.

As a sidebar in all those multi-storey valet places can they powerwash a car? and if yes where do they do it, I've never seen water running down ramps, or do they take cars somewhere else
 
They generally have a little booth where the take the car to powerwash it, it must have its own drainage system
