Recommend family holiday in August

Where would be a good place to holiday in the first two weeks of August with two toddlers, don't like too hot- above 30- and hate crowds. We are stuck this year, would never normally holiday during peak season and am a bit stuck for ideas.

LOL, good point. Except I'm now living just outside Limerick city so not much of a holiday!

Just came back from a short trip to Wicklow, very nice and not very hot. Going abroad with two toddlers would be my idea of a nightmare!
