Hi just enquiring if a 17 year old can make a planning application for a house and if not what is the minimum age?

Slightly off topic - you don't even have to exist. A neighbour of ours applied for Planning Permission for himself and his future wife who he was yet to meet.

Presumably his future wife does actually exist ... he just hasn't met her yet! :)

whats more important is that the applicant need not to exist yet can be granted permission....

i have seen the same happen first hand.... surely this is a simple matter of administration tightness...???
