NIB - anybody else experience problems banking with them?

Well?
Why doesn't she put her complaints to them formally in writing on the various issues and see what happens? If she gets no satisfaction then she can get a final response letter and take the matter to the [broken link removed] if necessary.

Maybe she's putting the card in upside down :). I can't fault NIB (fee-free banking, credit card, mortgage & internet banking). When dealing with any outfit you need to know what you're about to minimize getting messed about.
 
I have found that some of the counter staff aren't as knowledgeable about their own products as others and are likely to give you wrong information. Recently two staff huddled around their computer couldn'r tell me what interest I was getting on my ECB Tracker 2 account.

The first time I used a Chip & PIN Laser card (PTSB only issued mine a few months ago) I stuck it into the card reader in Lidl the wrong way around and shoved it in with a nasty crunching sound. The cashier was none too impressed. :eek:
