hi

anyone know any natural stone suppliers in the leinster area where i can get stone like this for my kitchen?

Hi, I think it is white sandstone, we got some granite off these guys and they were good so I checked them out there on their website for your stone. Is this what you are looking for. [broken link removed]
 
Hi Abbica....thanks for the post...it looks v similar alright.

do you mind me asking were these guys expensive? and do they cut the stone?im also considering doin a fireplace in similar and i havent much room so i dont want huge boulders?
 
I thought they were fine for what we got, I suppose they weren't cheap but you pay for what you get I suppose. Could have found cheaper perhaps but not much. Same principal all round regarding materials you buy. We got the yellow granite and the amount of compliments we are getting are unreal.
I am sure they would cut them down for you.They are stone masons etc so I am sure they have that facility, plus they have huge selections so you could ask them, possibly have white sandstone in smaller samples perhaps?

we got cream sandstone for house and have done a nice fireplace with it also....got it from wesellstone.com...they're based in Roscrea....stone is fantastic,stonemason said he never saw such good stone ie,it was guillotined and there were at least 2/3 good faces on each one which made for easier handling.....we had no waste whatsoever.....some places can sell you pallets of stone and wrap it up well on the outside with beautiful looking stone but when you dig into the middle,you can be left with alot of dirt. be careful...but i'd recommend wesellstone highly,100%....dont know where you're from but if you're ever passing through Roscrea,look out for the golf club,it's faced in gorgeous stone from the same company
