i would like to enquire does anybody know what airlines fly to orlando in America please. I have tried Delta Airlines but they are quiet expensive. Please and Thanks

We always fly to Orlando with Continental from shannon via newark. Never had any problem with them and there fares are competive.

We fly to Orlando several times a year to visit family. Have flown various airlines but find Aer Lingus direct is fantastic - flew out for New Year, 9.5 hrs and just returned yesterday on a 7.5 hr flight. They often offer an upgrade to premium (not business) for an additional €200, which allows extra legroom.

It is usually a little cheapter to fly Continental via Newark or American Airlines via JFK or Chicago, but of course it takes longer. You can also do Delta via Atlanta and American Holidays do a charter during the summer months to Sanford Airport, which is about 55 mins north of Orlando.

Whichever way you choose to travel, you will find Orlando a lot of fun.

Aer Lingus have business and economy only as far as I know. I do not believe they offer a economy+ product

They definitely offer it on the Dub-Orlando route, I got an email about it recently.

Wasn't sure if extra leg room was worth the €200 though. Has anyone availed of this? Any comments?

ok figured it out. There is no premier service on the DUB-MCO route so Aer Lingus instead offer the normal 'premier' seats for an extra fee. The service is the same as economy in every other respect, so you are paying for the leg room.

As a matter of interest is it 200 rtn or each way?
Was it a general email sent to all customers on the flight or just specifically to you?

Anyone can select and pay for these seats if they are available. Before you finalise your purchase, click 'show map' (or something like that) and the available seats will be shown - you'll be able to see if the premium seats are available. Then when you've bought the tickets, click on select seats (or go back via 'manage booking') and book and pay for the seats. It is €200 each way.

They certainly do, as outlined by the previous poster. It's worth it if leg room is really important to a traveller, otherwise no.

We flew two years ago with Monarch Airlines who did charters. It was cheap (sorry can't remember price but was cheaper than others at the time). Not sure if they still do them but we booked Monarch thro Direct Holidays. Maybe check out if some charter companies offer any value?

These flights go to Sanford, North Orlando, and are generally part of an all-inclusive package offered by tour operators, for example American Holidays. AFAIK they operate only at certain times of the year.

I just booked direct with US Airlines. Shannon-Philedelphia-Orlando. Very happy with the price (just under €2000 for 2ad + 2ch). Got a price of €2800 from one of the tour operators the same day (€3600 inclusive of hotel)!.

We just booked with americanholidays.com flying with USairways from snn to philly and on to mco. Great price of €1,600 for 2adults and 2 kids. Did fly with continental but saved €500 by going with above.
