The chap that the builder sent up on the extension roof to "paint" Aquaseal onto the house wall has splashed lots of the product on the house windows and on all 4 of the velux that light the extension .
The only warnings on the tin are "don't swallow" and "protect glass surfaces as it will stain" . I phoned Aquaseal , they could not name a cleaning product , sounded as if I'm the first person with this issue .
Any suggestions ?

Surely the builder is at fault here & should be the one to remedy the problem? I wouldn't do anything incase you end up making it worse. Call the builder and show him the damage and ask him to arrange for it to be removed. I don't know the product but a window scrapper normally takes off the splashes I manage to get on the windows when painting, but it's alot of elbow grease, so let him (or one of his "chaps") come and do it!

I would not rely on a careless builder to remove anything from glass or perspex without scratching it.

Thanks for the replies , you are both correct 1, this is for the builder to remedy ( remedy = PERFECT windows) but 2, I cant rely on him find the solution that HE NEEDS TO FIND .
I dont want the bother of replacing windows and I don't want to fall out with the builder who is honest and hardworking .
The product is silicone based , and I know from previous experience , silicone removal is the devils own work !

Just a hunch - try nail varnish remover on a little bit and see how it works out. If the glass isn't damaged it should lift it. I've used this quite successfully for removing polyeurathane etc.
