Most of your journey would be on the N11/M11, the N11 through Kilmacanogue and on past Bray can be slow at times, then you have to decide whether to go on the N11 to Stillorgan or along the M50 and down inot the industrial estate or when it re-opens through Carrickmines and down Cornelscourt Hill. Both are prety busy most mornings.

On the way home the traffic is often slow from just after the Cherrywood exit to beyond Kilmacanogue.

Rathdrum is 35min from Shankill Roundabout, sometimes a little quicker rarely longer. Rathdrum-glenealy-rathnew- N11

Coming home for some reason I find n11 to beehive pub, turn right , keep right, turn right into Deputys Pass and on to south of Glenealy - Rathdrum quicker.

Could spend longer from Shankill roundabout to Stillorgan

ps

Tuesday evening left 4pm from rathdrum and got to castlenock Country club hotel at 7.10pm!!!!!!!!!!

and then when the LUAS is joined up you could get it to the Stillorgan stop and get the bus from there into the village. Probably quicker walking. From Rathdrum.

Commute will take you roughly an hour at the time you are talking. It is definitely an easier commute than you would think, you spend most of the time actually driving as opposed to sitting in traffic, takes me consistently 40min to Glenageary.
