Hyundai Trajet Immobilser problems Please Help

Hi All,

My wife broke down today in the car and when I arrived to try and start the car I noticed that the Immobilser light was flashing and no spark from the coils. I have the ID (purple) key with a metal id tag and also a purple plastic tag with a four digit code hand written on it.
I am assuming that this is the "limp home code" but when I try to activate by turning the ignition on/off I have no joy.

Never had any problem with this car berfore,it is a 00 trajet 2 litre petrol.

Any help lads,please? Badly stuck.

Do you have the handbook? There's normally a set procedure for starting using the 4 digit code.Fiat use a system press accelerator to floor,turn on ignition,release,if first digit is 2 then press and release accelerator two times etc etc.Give Hyundai a ring if you don't have the book you could get lucky.
