Hi,
A friend knows of one English based manufacturer who has a sterling price list for UK based customers, and a euro price list for others in the EC like us.
There are just 2 problems
(A) they supply a niche market + he wants some of their goods
(B) their euro prices seem to be 1.78 times their stg prices, instead of approx 1.5. In other words, they are ripping off their euro customers. He has appealled to them and offered to pay in stg but got no satisfaction. Neither will they supply through a middleman in the UK.
The sums involved are not massive but its the principle of it. Anyone any suggestions on any EC law they may be breaking or whatever ?
