Could anyone suggest a colour for my kitchen walls. I am putting ina cream kitchen with walnut worktops and red aga. I have a marble table in a cream and brown with brown leather chairs and floor tiles that match.

thanks in advance

How about "Gooseberry" from colortrend. The green is really nice and would set off the red and cream in your kitchen and really add vibrancy to your room. I like heavy hard hitting colours that are colours, none of your almost white, eau de whatever for me.

not associated with colortrend, just a happy customer.

I'm putting in a cream gloss kitchen with a few walnut accents and stainless steel appliances. My worktop will be a glossy dark grey, flooring to be decided yet, possibly bamboo in a light shade.

As I don't want the walls to be competing against the kitchen, I'm probably going to paint them a very pale grey.

Danaforever, I haven't actually bought the paint yet, so can't give you a link. In any case I find colours look different on different computers!

Dulux is my favourite paint and I usually have it mixed for me rather than buy one of the ready-mixed colours. There's a huge range available so it's very easy to find what I want. I believe Farrow & Ball paints are wonderful but haven't splashed out on any yet - it's quite pricy.

As to my pale grey, all I can say is it will be a very light shade, and I think I'll go for matt rather than my usual soft sheen, so there won't be any distracting reflections on the walls! Builder hopefully starting this week on extension & internal remodelling, and kitchen going in end November/early December I hope.

Different computer displays display colours differently and not necessarily accurately! Don't make a buying decision based on what you see on screen.
