Do we know that this actually the case in this situation? I can't see any comment from the original poster that establishes this as fact.

I am not sure that Fingal are going to do this but the poster suggested that there was no management company which would suggest that the local authority plan to adopt the roads.

I work as a planning consultant and this would be my experience.

They just said

Tiz a private house in a housing estate.

No management company involved !

in response to a question about it being a council house. This doesn't mean that it's a privately managed estate. Perhaps the original poster can clarify whether or not there is any privately managed aspect to the estate or if the council have taken it fully in charge (in which case I see no reason why they should have any right to part on the street in front of the house regardless of any markings put there by somebody else).
