when we have a summer with warm weather we put it down to global warming, when we have a wet cold summer we put it down to global warming, can anyone explain this, are we getting to paranoid about the whole thing, everything that happens is put down to global warming
 
Yep, if global warming carries on at this rate, they might have to impose an environmental tax on us to pay for fixing it.....................
 
The tax is only a year or two away I'd imagine. Cars will become our scapegoat in this country...we should all be on buses/bicycles/trains etc...even if there isn't the transport system available to use them!! Car drivers will get shafted in the name of being green....I've no doubt!

Not really. If you read scientific literature you will get a more accurate picture. It's the mass media that is linking everything and anything to global warming. In fact I think in scientific circles it's referred to as "climate change" so as to clarify what exactly is happening.
 
And here's me thinking that everything was still El Niño's fault. How out of date is that?

This year they're saying it's La Nina (little girl) conditions in the pacific. El nino conditions have meant a good summer for us in the past (see last year!).
