Can I change the side a door hangs from.

Is it possible to change the direction a door hangs. The hinges are on the left hand side - can I change this to the right side or do I need to get a new door?

you can.
you don't need an new door.
just fill in the old holes properly, and transfer over to the other side.
you would just have to paint it to finish it nicely:)
 
Hi Megan,

This was done by the previous owners of our house. The only problem for us is that when we open the door the light switch is behind the door - only a small issue but annoying! We're going to move the light switch soon.
