Hi

I purchased a Nokia N95 in a Nokia store in Bangkok 2 weeks ago with my Visa card. Since then the vibrator alert on the phone has quit working. Nokia Ireland are not fixing the phone as they are statting that if the phone was purchased in Bangok it os only covered by Asian warranty. If I wanted to get it fixed for free then I would have to go back to Bangkok or so i was told.
When I came back from Thailand I transferred the Insurance from my old Nokia N70 to my N95, am I covered under that, or am I covered unded my credit card, as the product i purchased was falulty.

Thanks.

The terms & conditions of the insurance policy should clarify.

The Exclusions in the terms and conditons of my Vodafone Insurance states, looks like a catch 22.

"Mechanical or electrical breakdown or derangement unless caused by accidental external means"

and

"Damage covered by the manufactures' warranty and damage caused by inherent manufacturing or design faults"

Ditto.
