harp removed from 2 euro coin and replaced by a book and a funny line shape, why?

looked at the back of a 2 euro coin 2007 and i see that the harp has been removed and replaced by a book and a funny line shape. what was the reason for this

It is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the signing the Treaty of Rome
