cabra - Bannow Road area

Any opinions on the Bannow Road area of Cabra? How does it compare to the rest of Cabra?

If i was buying on Bannow Road I would only buy along the first half of the road. Thats anywhere from Fassaugh Raod to before the FAS training center.
 
There are an awful lot of houses for sale on Bannor Road at the moment for some reason.

The other end has a lot of factories (both working and derelict), including a Dublin City Council depot. I notice that one of them is being converted into an apartment block. I'm told that there's a preservation order on the art deco facade of the building. A good thing about that end of the road is its proximity to the station.

The reason so many houses for sale is prob because this is an old area and a lot of people dying .
